In 1883 Jane with her father and two daughters sailed to Canada from England the voyage to cross the Atlantic took more then 21 days.  The family made muddy York thier new home and many years after arriving in the new City of Toronto Jane's oldest daughter Rose married Mr. Patrick J. O'Donnell and her younger daughter Dahlia married Mr. Oliver Watson.
