Cornelius Gerrard Knaap and his wife Adriaantje Heerebout came to Canada from Holland with thier four children Cornelius, Barend, Andy and Marjory. Adriaan or Andy (also known as Eddy) Knaap married Vera Louise sister to Mable Fountian and Bill Beard. Vera was one of three children of Pte Archie W. Beard and Ruth Careless both Englanders, now of Fergus and Milton area Ontario. Eddy and Vera were the parents of six children Archie, June, Isabelle, Donald, William and Louis, plus a host of grand-children and great grand-children |
